Em's roots
You are playing as Em, but there is another soul joined together with your body
Soul's name is Warrior (she has red hair), Em can't fight monsters that roam around so it's up to the Warrior to handle that. But she can only use Em's body for limited amount of time
Controls and screenshots:
- Use left and right arrow keys to move [<] [>] and top arrow key to jump [^]
- Use [x] key to swap bodies with Warrior (Hold it for 3 seconds and DON'T move)
- Use [c] key while Warrior soul has control off the body to attack
- Use [c] key while Em has control to pickup skeleton remains to regain health and receive damage multiplier
If you die your damage multiplier resets and you get thrown to a last checkpoint
This game was developed in 2 days for GMTK jam, by only one developer who didn't sleep and was only alive because of coffee :3

Excellent game, would love more levels. It would make the instructions easier to follow if they didn't disappear when you walk past them, if you misread and walk ahead there's no way to go back and check. That said, for the most part they were clear and the game was entertaining.

Sorry that this happened, There is only one message that you can easily miss that explains the mechanic.
You need to stand still and hold [x] key for 3 seconds.
And there is a bug where you are on the slope sometimes the game treats you like you are falling and that blocks transition of characters from happening.
No worries , now i know this ill retry. Game looked like it had alot of potential
holy shit how is this unreviewed? its one of the better game i played this jam, well done. good controls, very original, i understood how it fitted the theme, its graphics was amazing, man. 5 stars
